A Nigerian man has shared via his page on X (Twitter) @Chrisllionaire_ why he would look away if he catches his friend’s partner cheating.

Stating his reasons in his tweet, he shared two occurrences where his friends blamed him for ruining their relationships with their partners.

His tweet read;

“If I see your partner cheating, I’ll look away and keep quiet. I know it’s wrong, but let me tell you why. I used to be friends with a beautiful girl who was dating a guy living on my street. Her boyfriend was a chronic cheat. At first, I ignored it and wasn’t going to tell her. But I couldn’t stand it, so I told her. She confronted him, and later asked what to do. I advised her to break up with him. Fast forward six years later, we met at an event, and she told me I’m the reason she’s still single. She said she believe they would have settled things and gotten married. Omo my head wan burst. Up till today, she’s still single. Years later, I became close to an Aunty who literally opened the doors of her house for me. She was my food plug in my bachelor days. I even had a key to their house. Later I started working at her husband’s company. After a while, I noticed he was cheating. I had evidence and knew where one of his girlfriends lived. He got uncomfortable, clearly worried I’d tell his wife. Someone later exposed him with a hidden camera – video and all – sent straight to their pastor. Big me§§, but guess what? They stayed together. He later f!red me before the time I planned to quit. Still mind-blowing. Somehow they’re still married till today.”
