Italian football expert, Guiseppe di Stefano has lashed out at Samuel Chukwueze for his uninspiring performance at Serie A giants, AC Milan.
Chukwueze arrived at the San Siro from La Liga outfit, Villarreal last summer.
The winger has, however, failed to hit the ground running at his new club.
The 24-year-old scored 13 goals and recorded 10 assists across all competitions during his final season at Villarreal.
The Nigerian international scored twice and registered one assist in 21 games at AC Milan.
Di Stefano claimed that Chukwueze is yet to show the quality that made AC Milan sign him from the Yellow Submarine.
“Pioli doesn’t have great alternatives as a right winger because Chukwueze has been the disappointment of the season. Only ten games played from the start and few minutes for a player who hasn’t shown the qualities he showed with Villarreal,” Di Stefano was quoted by Pianetamilan.
