Former First Lady of Lagos, Senator Fatimat Raji-Rasaki has expressed grief over the sudden death of the Ekiti State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Paul Omotoso.
Omotoso aged 61, died last week Tuesday after a brief illness.
Raji-Rasaki in her condolence message to Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the APC family in Ekiti described the late Omotoso as a humble, resourceful, and committed party leader.
She said, “I received the sad news of the demise of our party Chairman, Barrister Paul Omotoso with rude shock. I want to use this medium to express my heartfelt condolence to our governor, Biodun Oyebanji, the APC family, and the immediate family of the deceased.
“Omotoso’s leadership has engendered peace and progress in the party in Ekiti. He was a leader who believed in participatory politics and all-inclusive governance.
“I pray that may the God Almighty give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss .It is indeed a big to us in Ekiti.“
