The Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA) has condoled with the Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi, over the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi.
In a condolence letter signed by the SAA Nigeria Country Director, Dr Godwin Atser, the SAA said that losing two family members in such close succession was too painful to be calmed with words, as the depth of sorrow in the family can only be imagined.
“Losing two cherished family members in such close succession brings immeasurable grief, and we can only imagine the depth of sorrow your family is experiencing at this moment,” Dr Atser said in the letter.
“We are profoundly saddened to learn of this heartbreaking loss.”.
“The late Hajiya Namadi exuded love, wisdom, and strength that those who knew her will forever cherish.
“Abdulwahab’s promising life was a testament to the values you tirelessly worked to build for your family and the people of Jigawa State. Their memories will continue to inspire all who were touched by their presence,” the letter stated.
The SAA prayed that Allah (SWT) forgives the departed souls, grants them Aljannah Firdaus, and grants the governor and his family the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
The organisation also expressed its solidarity with the Governor and the people of Jigawa State, assuring the Governor that “the Sasakawa Africa Association stands with you during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you, your family, and the good people of Jigawa State.”
A delegation led by the SAA/KSADP Project Coordinator, Abdulrasheed Kofarmata, who represented the Country Director at the Government House in Dutse, Jigawa State, presented the condolence letter to the Governor on Monday.
