A social media practitioner and the CEO of Grace Social Media Agency, Samuel Ijaola, has said that content creators can fully leverage social media to boost their careers.
Speaking about the type of content that generates the most revenue, Ijaola opined that creators should focus on what they are passionate about, stressing the importance of authenticity. He said, “Creators should pursue their passions and what resonates with them, as this sustains their creative drive.”
Ijaola also stated that instead of sticking to a single social media platform, creators should experiment with different platforms to find the one that best aligns with their goals. This was even as he urged creators to adhere strictly to platform policies and warned against producing inappropriate content, such as sexual material, which could lead to account suspension. He added that the profitability of a brand hinges on the quality and relevance of its content to its target audience.
Encouraging creators to analyse their audience’s preferences, he said, “Revenue generation depends significantly on content type and market niche. The comedy niche is crowded with creators, but creators can explore other niches to stand out.”
Ijaola, who has worked with creators such as Sabinus, Nasty Blaq, Emmanuella, and Zfancy, noted that he was passionate about fostering growth and innovation in the industry.
