Just last week, Han chaired an annual investor meeting where he addressed concerns over Samsung’s stock performance and warned of economic uncertainties in 2025. According to Reuters, he emphasized the company’s commitment to pursuing “meaningful” mergers and acquisitions to drive future growth.
“There are challenges in semiconductor M&A due to regulatory constraints and national interests, but we are determined to achieve tangible results this year,” he stated.
Han began his journey at Samsung in 1988 after earning a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Inha University. Before leading the electronics and devices division, he played a key role in managing Samsung’s display business. His contributions, particularly in launching LED TVs, cemented Samsung’s position as a technology leader.
