Ryan Giggs, the co-owner of Sky Bet League Two club Salford City, has been appointed as the director of football for much of the current season.
This marks the tenth anniversary of the takeover of the Class of 92.
Giggs has returned to football after stepping down as the manager of Wales in June 2022 in light of impending trial.
Despite being cleared of domestic violence charges last year, the 50-year-old still feels he has some unfinished business left in the game.
It is the former Manchester United star’s first job back in football since standing down as Wales manager in June 2022 in the run up to the World Cup in Qatar due to a then upcoming trial.
Giggs won 12 of his 25 matches in charge of Wales national team.
He could return to management and coaching in the near future but is for now working as director of football for Salford, Mirror UK reports.
