The Presidency has stated that there was no means President Bola Tinubu would maintain quiet and permit crises within the states to escalate.
That is following his intervention within the political crises in Ondo and Rivers State.
Observers had claimed Tinubu’s actions have been undermining the federal government of such states.
However his media adviser, Ajuri Ngelale believes it was a transfer in the precise path.
Ngelale stated Tinubu will proceed to intervene in states battling political crises if such growth will have an effect on the nation.
“That has nothing to do with, in fact, political growth, destabilization of a specific area or state or subnational entity that would probably flip right into a nationwide conflagration,” he stated on Channels Tv’s Information Evening, a pre-recorded present that airs on Mondays.
“If the President sees that, he’s not going to take a seat by because the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and fold his palms and maintain quiet. I feel that’s what he has completed.
“That’s to say in case you are the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and your main goal is to guarantee that the Nigerian persons are secure; that they can function in an setting that’s steady and doesn’t place them in any type of insecurity, then that if a political disaster is devolving into one thing that’s producing artifical insecurity, then the president must step in and he took that sensible choice to step in,” the presidential aide maintained.
