Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has appointed the immediate-past Speaker of the State Home of Meeting, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, as his new Chief of Workers.
He replaces Chidi Amadi as Chief of Workers.
Ehie, who’s an ally of Fubara, had resigned because the Speaker of the state Meeting, a number of days in the past.
Recall that the decision signed by events through the peace assembly held on the occasion of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu included the popularity of Rt. Hon. Martins Amaewhule as Speaker of the Home.
Nonetheless, there was no clause mandating Ehie to vacate his seat as a member of the Home.
That is the aftermath of the disaster between the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike and Fubara.
The duo have been at loggerheads over the management of the state sources and political construction.
