Applications for the Rehoboth Foundation Scholarship are now open for students enrolled in public tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The Foundation has expanded it’s scope of operation by visiting various tertiary institutions in the country to partner with them to identify and sponsor indigent students.
Benefits
- The Rehoboth Scholarship will provide sufficient fund to support each selected applicant.
- The fund will be used to support your tuition, and living stipends throughout the period of your study.
The Rehoboth Dream Solid Foundation shall particularly seek:
- To engage in charitable activities that will advance the social and economic wellbeing of the less privileged through the promotion of sustainable education, mentoring and skills acquisition.
- To harness and focus the potentials of the less privileged towards skills acquisition for the social and economic growth and development of Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
- To assist indigent men and women to improve their earning powers through skills acquisition and development of healthy spirit of enterprise.
- To raise funds for, charities, homes and schools or colleges to enable indigent children attend school, but without making parents entirely dependent on charity.
- To distribute emergency aids, health supplies, teaching aids and books as well as cloths to poor families in Nigerian and African villages, refugee camps and orphanages
- To support poor children in schools with financial sponsorship and donations of clothing and stationary.
- To provide gratuitous vocational and medical materials in areas of need to be used in encouraging personal and social development among less privileged young persons or adults in Nigeria and Africa at large.
- To advocate and promote skills acquisition by young school leavers and young professionals of Nigerian and African descent and to de-emphasise the acquisition of formal education to the neglect of skills acquisition, vocational training and development.
- To promote the provision and acquisition of various kinds of skills necessary for national and international development.
- To secure the services of teachers, artisans, tutors, instructors and other staff to assist in fulfilling the objectives of the Foundation.
- To advocate that Government at all levels, civil society and the private sector promote and provide support for and build up the capacity for the acquisition of skills to enhance national development.
- To organize seminars, workshops, skills-building and skills acquisition sessions, trade fairs, visits from scholars and artisans and all relevant stakeholders for the attainment of the objectives of the Foundation.
- To give charitable aid to any person or institution, which the Foundation may deem fit.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a Nigerian.
- Be enrolled full-time for a first degree program in a public tertiary institution (university, polytechnic or college of education)
- Applicant must possess a minimum of second class upper or its equivalent.
- The Foundation will consider on a case-by-case basis, emergency and ad-hoc requests for financial support. E.g financial cover for school projects.
Skill Development and apprenticeship program:
- Applicants must demonstrate and show evidence of enrollment in an apprenticeship program with a recognized establishment.
- Confirmation of applicant’s financial status.
- Evidence of applicant’s commitment to excellence on the program.
- Letter from a Religious leader (Church or Mosque as applicable) attesting to candidate’s character and behavior.
- Letters from 2 Referees (minimum of Management staff of a reputable organization, Candidate’s local government Chairman, or senior public servant at level 12 or higher).
Selection Process
All candidates interested in obtaining sponsorship or scholarship from the Rehoboth Dream Solid Foundation will be required to satisfy the following conditions:
- For existing students: Provision of a letter of recommendation from the Institution confirming attendance and an acceptable academic performance.
- For new students: Letter of admission into the Tertiary institution (limited to public universities. – Private universities are excluded).
Screening will include investigation on admission status, confirmation of student’s financial status and evidence of the student’s commitment to academic excellence.

Method of Application
- Register on the Rehoboth Dream Solid Foundation (RDSF) website by clicking the sign up button at the top right of our website.
- Once registration form is completed and submitted, you will receive an activation link in your email. Click on this link and log in to your RDSF account with your username and password you created during step 1.
- Fill in your sponsorship application and click the submit button.
- A support/ screening personnel will contact you via email for further information if your application has passed the first screening process.
Note: Before registration or filling out the sponsorship form kindly ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements and have necessary supporting documents for the various sponsorship/support categories.
The Foundation will call for applications at the start of every academic session from the general public by placing an advert on the Foundation’s website and by writing to some colleges and higher Institutions.
Applications received will be screened and scrutinized to confirm compliance with the Foundation’s conditions.
Successful applicants will be contacted for registration with the Foundation.
