The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has delisted pensioners who failed to confirm their aliveness from the pension payroll.
The commission made this known through a press release on its social media handle on Monday, May 6th, 2024, signed by the Head of the Corporate Communications Unit, Olugbenga Ajayi
The press release:
Following the notification in February 2024 to all pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS), the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) wishes to inform pensioners who failed to confirm aliveness on their due date that they have been suspended from the pension payroll.
If the affected pensioners confirm aliveness after their due date, they will be automatically restored back to pension payroll for payment in the next payroll cycle and the arrears for every month/payment cycle missed, will be computed and added to the pension.
