In a bid to transform the future of Nigerian youth, the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiative has launched the Youth Activities Dashboard, a technological platform designed to track and monitor youth development initiatives across Nigeria.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiative, Titilope Gbadamosi, noted that the launch of the Youth Activities Dashboard is more than just a technological milestone, emphasizing that it is the realization of the bold vision to place youth at the heart of the national development agenda.
Gbadamosi further explained that the platform is designed to be user-friendly for policymakers, ministries, departments, and agencies, providing real-time insights to measure the impact and relevance of youth-focused initiatives.
“The dashboard also ensures transparency, accountability, and inclusiveness in empowering young people.
“By identifying gaps and opportunities, we can amplify successful efforts and correct what does not work, ensuring that no young person is left behind,” Gbadamosi added.
“The launch of the Youth Activities Dashboard is a testament to the power of partnerships and shared responsibility.”
Gbadamosi expressed gratitude to development partners and private sector stakeholders for their collaboration in making the initiative a reality.
“The dashboard is expected to bridge gaps and catalyze sustainable solutions in youth development.”
“Together, we can create a future where every young Nigerian has access to opportunities that will allow them to thrive.”
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication and Orientation, Sunday Dare, explained that the dashboard aims to provide a comprehensive overview of youth-related programs, projects, and policies across the country.
He pointed out that the importance of youth development cannot be overstated, as emphasized by the President, adding that the youth demographic is crucial for Nigeria’s growth and development.
He stated that it is essential to provide young people with the necessary skills, resources, and opportunities to thrive.
“The Youth Activities Dashboard is a significant step in this direction. It serves as a one-stop shop for young people to access information on youth-focused initiatives, programs, and policies.”

“The dashboard also provides a platform for stakeholders to track progress, identify gaps, and make informed decisions.”
“As noted by the Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiatives, the dashboard is designed to connect young people across the federation with federal government initiatives, interventions, and empowerment programs.”
“This is a commendable effort, and it is essential to recognize the commitment of the current administration to youth development.”
“However, it is crucial to acknowledge that there is still more work to be done. As emphasized by the speaker, the sense of inclusivity must extend to plugging into the electoral process.”
“Young people must be encouraged to participate in politics and take advantage of opportunities to serve in various capacities,” he said.
In his keynote address, the Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande, stressed the importance of youth empowerment and development in the country.
According to Olawande, young Nigerians are resilient, hardworking, and accomplished, with a strong desire to take charge of their future.
Olawande stated, “We are workaholics, we have an accomplished spirit, we are resilient, and we can endure any condition. That is why, with a beautiful system, we are taking the future into our own hands.”
The Minister emphasized that the time for complaining about problems is over, and it is time to seek solutions.
He also encouraged young people to work together to achieve their goals and to hold their leaders accountable, noting that the government has a critical role to play in youth development.
“We want the youth to be part of everything we are doing in this government. We want to constantly engage with the youth.”
The Minister launched the Youth Activities Dashboard, a platform designed to provide young people with access to information on youth-focused initiatives, programs, and policies. Through this dashboard, young people will be able to track, monitor, and access all government youth activities.
Olawande emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability in government. He stated, “We must be open. We want the youth to see the government, feel the government, and hold the government accountable.”
The Minister also stressed the need for collaboration between the government, private sector, and civil society organizations to support youth development in Nigeria. He believes that by working together, we can create a brighter future for young Nigerians.
Olawande stated, “We are going to take the youth of this country to the next level.” He emphasized that this will require the collective efforts of all stakeholders, including the government, private sector, and civil society organizations.
