Eight days after the dying of the late Governor of Ondo, Rotimi Akeredolu, aides, political followers and relations converged on Owo, the hometown of the late governor, and held a particular prayer session in his reminiscence as a part of the funeral rites.
Akeredolu, final Wednesday died in his sleep in Germany, whereas on medical trip, after combating with protracted prostate most cancers on the age of 67.
The programme which was held at his residence in Owo whereas the household was represented by the youthful sister to the late governor, Toyin Akeredolu.
On the service, which was led by Rev. Canon S.B Oladimeji, prayers had been supplied for the households, followers and political household of the late Akeredolu, in addition to the state and Owo city.
The state authorities was not represented on the prayer session which was organised by the political household of the late Akeredolu, with one of many organisers saying; “that is purely non-public affairs”.
