Police renew partnership with DSS, Navy to secure Abia

Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, Danladi Isa has assured that his command will continually collaborate with the Department of State Service, DSS, in securing Abia State.

He made the call on Friday in his office while receiving a delegation from the Department of State Services, DSS, Abia State Command, led by the State Director, Ibrahim Abdullahi.

He identified the importance of inter agency collaboration, particularly in intelligence gathering and crime prevention.

Earlier in his speech, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who recently assumed office as the State Director of DSS, acknowledged the Police as the lead internal security agency and expressed his commitment to fostering collaboration with the Police, adding that the visit was to deepen inter-agency relations and enhance synergy between the Police and the Department of State Services.

Similarly, the new Commandant of Nigerian Navy College of Accounts and Finance, Owerrinta, B.U.Quadri visited the Commissioner of Police, Abia State, Danladi Isa at Police headquarters Umuahia with a call for full collaboration with the Police in the security of Abia State.

Responding to the call, CP Danladi Isa said that the partnership between the Police and the Navy will foster peace and security in the State.
