The Kwara State Police Command has arrested five suspects in connection with the murder of a 46-year-old graduate of the University of Ilorin, Lanre Adebayo.
Adebayo, a Political Science graduate, was reportedly tortured to death on Monday, October 21, 2024, in the Ita-Elepa area of Ilorin West Local Government Area, following an altercation with local vigilante security guards.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the suspects included a community leader, two local vigilante guards, and two other individuals who allegedly participated in the assault that led to Adebayo’s death.
