The Nigeria Police have appointed a lecturer at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Sebastine Okafor, as the spokesman for the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), South East.
The appointment of the lecturer who doubles as a journalist in Enugu was made contained in a letter dated October 8, 2024, and signed by the National Coordinator of the program, CSP Oluyesi Okowobi.
In the letter seen by the Daily Sun, it was stated that Okafor’s appointment came as a result of a thorough review of his experience and track record in the fight against cultism and other vices.
Okafor currently serves as the Internal Auditor, Online Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Enugu State Chapter, and works as a presenter with Family Love FM, Enugu. He also writes for several other media organisations.
