Plateau United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut believes that his team can improve on their performance following the defeat to Sunshine Stars
The Peace Boys suffered a 3-1 loss against Sunshine stars at the Akure Township Stadium on Saturday.
Mangut admitted that the players failed to convert the chances they created in the game.
“The league is really a marathon, you can see 60 per cent of what we are working on in the game,” he said in a post-match interview.
“There is room for improvement; for me Sunshine Stars took their chances.
“We really played the way we planned but we didn’t take our chances.”
Plateau United have recorded 41 points in 24 games in the NPFL.
