The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold a ward congress in each of the 203 wards in Ondo State on Monday.
The exercise is for the purpose of electing three ad hoc delegates per ward for the upcoming primary to elect its gubernatorial candidate for the November election.
One of the delegates from each of the wards must be a woman.
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the main opposition party has, therefore, approved the nomination of a five-member electoral committee led by Senator Abba Moro as chairman to conduct the exercise.
Members are Hon. Tom Zakari, Comrade Issaiah Makinde, Chief David Kolawole Vaughan, and Barrister Nheoma Ndu, who is to serve as secretary.
According to a statement by Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary, the NWC has charged all governorship aspirants, leaders, critical stakeholders, and members of the party in Ondo State to take note and be guided accordingly.
