A train travelling from Abuja to Kaduna has derailed at Asha Station, leaving many passengers stranded in the Federal Capital territory.
PUNCH Online recalls that on May 26, An Abuja-bound train, on Sunday, derailed along the Abuja-Kaduna route, leading to the passengers being stranded in the Jere area of Kaduna State.
This marks the second instance in two weeks that the train has derailed.
However, when contacted by PUNCH Online, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Yakub Mahmoud, stated that a formal statement regarding the incident would be sent soon.
