The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSSIEC, is set to launch a campaign against social vices in preparation for the local government poll in the state.
OSSIEC Chairman Hashim Abioye, in a statement on Thursday in Osogbo, said the campaign would target cultism, cybercrime and drug abuse during the forthcoming election in the state.
“The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission will launch a campaign against cultism, cybercrime and drug abuse during elections in Osun. The campaign, which is tagged, ‘Campaign Against Election 2CD,’ will be formally unveiled soon.
