The revered leader of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, died after Eid prayers.
In the early hours of Wednesday, April 10, 2024, the monarch, aged 64, peacefully passed away following his observance of Eid prayers.
The news of his demise was formally conveyed by the Executive Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, Olasoju Adebayo, in a statement he personally issued.

In his announcement, Adebayo expressed, “I have been tasked by the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, to officially declare the passing of the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, on this 10th day of April, 2024.”
“He was 64 years old,” the statement continued.
“The late monarch will be laid to rest today at 4 p.m. at his palace, located at 3/5 Akinbaye Street, Isolo, in accordance with Islamic customs.”
“May his soul find eternal peace,” the statement concluded.
