The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has released a 256-member State Campaign Council list.
A former governor of the state and Senator representing Edo North, Adams Oshiomhole, is the council’s chairman.
In a statement on Wednesday, the acting State Chairman of the party, Jarrett Tenebe, said that Matthew Urhoghide would be the Campaign Council Director-Generalà, and Joe Ugheoke, Campaign Council Secretary.
Tenebe said additional notable appointments include House of Representatives member Peter Akpatason as Deputy Director-General of Operations and Mike Onolememen as Deputy Director-General of Administration, while Lucky Imasuen, Odi Okogie, Abu Lawani have been designated as Coordinators for Edo South, Edo Central, and Edo North, respectively.
The Campaign Council, he said, also has Bisi Idaomi as Director of Administration, John Osakue as Director of Operations, and Samson Osagie as Director of Contacts.
Ernest Umakhihe will oversee financial matters as Director of Finance, Orobosa Omo Ojo as Director of publicity and Kazeem Afegbu will handle media relations.
Strengthening the campaign’s logistics and mobilisation efforts, Tenebe said Theo Okoh has been appointed Director of Groups and Patrick Obahiagbon will serve as Director of Logistics.
Also, Razak Bello-Osagie will oversee Events and Venues, while Dr. West Idahosa will act as Director of Legal Affairs. Patrick Ikhariale will lead mobilization efforts, and General Alfred Ilogho will be responsible for conventional security.
The list also has Gideon Ikhine as Director of Strategy, Itohan Edokpolor as Director of Women and Market Traders, Elizabeth Ebosele as Director of Professionals, Rich Lamai as Director of Civil Society and Joe Ikpea as Director of Artisans.
John Mayaki is the Director of New Media, Theo Afuda, Director of the Situation Room and Grace Musa is the Director of Special Duties, Gabriel Iduseri is the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Ekunwen Nosa is the Director of Medical and Nosa Osahon is, the Director of Inter-Party Relations.
Although the inauguration date for the 256-member Campaign Council has not yet been set, Tenebe said, “The composition of the council reflects a meticulous effort to ensure comprehensive representation of APC’s diverse and dedicated members.”
