Ahead of the governorship election in Ondo state, endorsements have continued to pour in for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, as a diaspora group of Ondo state indigenes has thrown their weight behind the incumbent governor’s bid.
The Ondo State indigenes in diaspora described Aiyedatiwa as best positioned for the tasks ahead, saying the governor has the capacity and experience to change the fortune of the state.
In a statement signed by the coordinator of the group, Comrade Akintoye Ogundoju, said Ondo indigenes who resides in Paris, France urged residents of the state to cooperate with the Aiyedatiwa to provide the needed human and infrastructural development in the state
According to him, the indigenes abroad have recognized the significant strides taken by Governor Aiyedatiwa towards the development of the state and described Aiyedatiwa as a leader who believes in the continuity of government as a key strategy for fostering development.

Akintoye emphasized the importance of continuity in government, citing examples from European countries where sustained development has been achieved through consistent governance.
He expressed confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s ability to continue the legacy of progress initiated by the late Governor, Arakunrin Akeredolu.
“”The reasons for our support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa are deeply rooted in his commitment to good governance and his continuity of projects initiated by his predecessor,” Comrade Akintoye stated.
“We the Ondo State indigenes in abroad have pledged to mobilize themselves to return to Nigeria in the coming months to officially declare their support for Governor Aiyedatiwa.
“We are fully committed to ensuring the success of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, from the primaries to the gubernatorial election,” Comrade Akintoye affirmed.
“The Ondo State indigenes in diaspora are resolute in their support for Governor Aiyedatiwa and we are determined to contribute to his continued success in leading Ondo State towards greater prosperity and development.”
