Nigeria Premier Football League side, Sunshine Stars, have beefed up their technical department with the aim of maintaining their top-flight status.
The Ondo State Sports Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Kolawole Saka-Ogunleye, has appointed Gabriel Aborowa and Henry Abiodun as the technical director and technical consultant respectively.
Aborowa and Abiodun will work alongside head coach Kennedy Boboye to save the Owena Waves from relegation.
Both appointments are with immediate effect.
Aborowa was formerly the team manager of Sunshine Stars, while Abiodun served as the head coach of the team in the past.
Their appointment is also aimed at repositioning of the Nigeria Women Football League side, Sunshine Queens.
Sunshine Stars occupy 18th position on the NPFL table with 36 points while Sunshine Queens have been relegated from NWFL.
