Heartland forward, Onyekachi Okafor, believes the Owerri club can escape relegation this season.
The Naze Millionaires were held to a 1-1 draw by Kano Pillars in Aba last weekend.
Heartland are winless under Christian Obi in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
They are currently 19th on the table with 18 points.
Okafor said the team will not give up on their NPFL survival battle.
“With togetherness, we can turnaround the fortunes of this club,” he told Arogidigba Global Journal.
“We are in the race for survival and we won’t give up on the battle.”
Heartland will be in action against Lobi Stars in a matchday 21 fixture on Sunday.
