The agro ranger squad of the Niger State Command of Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has assured that it will leave no stone unturned in the protection of agro allied investments in the state.
The state commandant of NSCDC, Joachin Okafor, gave the assurance in a statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Abubakar Mohammad Muti, in Minna.
Joachin explained that to achieve its mandate in protecting agro allied investments, the command will partner with the Niger State Government to that effect.
According to him: “The agro ranger squad of the corps was established in 2016 through the initiative of the Federal Ministry Agriculture and the Federal Ministry of Interior in ensuring the security and safeguarding as well as the protection of agro allied investment, farmland, farmers herders and other agriculture related investment in the country.”
The statement said, inline with the Commandant General of the Corp’s vision of training and retraining of the operatives of the agro rangers squad, NSCDC will not be compromised in actualising the protection of agro allied investments across the country.
The state commandant assured: “The Niger State Command of the agro rangers will leave no stone unturned in the protection of agro allied investments in the state.”
Okafor further noted that officers and men of the agro rangers squad of the command were fully trained to perform effectively in the protection of the gro allied processing project sited in Niger State.
