Katsina United has confirmed the departure of their head coach, Bala Abubakar.

Abubakar announced his resignation following the Chanji Boys defeat to Sunshine Stars on Wednesday.

The former Nigeria Tornadoes gaffer cited poor working environment and non-fulfilment of contractual agreement by the club as the reason behind his decision.

Chairman of the club, Alhaji Kabir Dan’lami Rimi, wished him best of luck in his future endeavours.

The club is now expected to look for a new head coach.

Katsina United currently occupied eighth position in the table with 35 points from 24 matches.
