The 40 clubs competing in the Nigeria National League (NNL) have been urged to make use of the transfer window to fortify their squads ahead of the commencement of the second half of the season.
The Chief Operating Officer, Dr Ayo Abdulrahaman gave the advice in a chat with the NNL media.
He thanked the club’s for their cooperation towards the smooth completion of the first stanza.
Abdulrahman added that the commencement date for the second half of the season will be announced in due course.
He assured that all the groups will have a uniform commencement date after the completion of matches in Conferences A & B in the next two weeks.
Wikki Tourists top conference C with sixteen (16) points and followed by El-Kanemi Warriors and Nasarawa United in second and third places with 15 and 14 points respectively.
ABS FC, EFCC, and Nigeria Air force (NAF) outfit are in the relegation zone.
Sporting Supreme leads the pack in Conference D with 14 points followed by Sokoto United with 12 points and Adamawa United with 11 points.
Kebbi United, City FC, and Malumfashi FC are in the murky waters of relegation.
