The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, has appealed to Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, assuring them that the country’s economy will stabilise by next Christmas.
In a Christmas message issued on Wednesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje expressed optimism about the nation’s economic recovery. He acknowledged the discomfort caused by the bold economic reforms undertaken by the government but reassured citizens that the results were already becoming visible.
“I urge Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration as it navigates these tough reforms. Although the process has been challenging, we are beginning to see positive results,” Ganduje stated.
“By next year’s Christmas, I assure you, the economy will have stabilised and will be in a much better position.”
Ganduje also highlighted the government’s progress in enhancing security, noting significant reductions in banditry and kidnapping across the country.
He emphasised that the administration’s efforts to secure Nigeria were already yielding encouraging outcomes.
As the nation continues to face developmental challenges, Ganduje reiterated that the APC leadership remains committed to implementing policies that promote sustainable growth, security, and improved welfare for all Nigerians.
Reflecting on the festive season’s deeper meaning, Ganduje encouraged Nigerians to embrace the values of love, peace, and unity exemplified by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
He further stressed the importance of selflessness, generosity, and care for the less privileged, particularly during this season of giving.
