Fola David, a Nigerian medical doctor, visual artist, and speed painter embarks on a journey to break the world Guinness record for the largest drawing by an individual titled “UNITY IN DIVERSITY“.
The pictorial theme will depict a map of Nigeria to celebrate our diverse culture, clamoring for unity, peace, and love. The size of the attempted drawing will also be 850 square meters on canvas.
The attempt started on the 16th of July and will end on the 21st at the Onikan stadium in Lagos state. Many local and international dignitaries including Afrobeat singer, Davido have thrown their weight behind supporting the quest.
Many netizens have also shown their love and support for the artist on social media. Some were also physically present at the event to lend moral support.
