General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has reassured that through sovereign power of God, Nigeria will overcome the challenges confronting it, no matter how dire they may seem.
Speaking through the church’s Public Relations Officer, Pastor Louis Chidi, Muoka emphasized that “God is not caught off guard by our challenges; what He has determined shall come to pass.”
He gave this reassurance ahead of the church’s annual four days crusade, themed “What God Has Determined Shall Be Done,” set to take place from January 2 to 4, 2025, at the Chosen International Secondary School along Oguta Road, Mgbidi, Imo State.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Pastor Muoka noted that the programme aims to reassure believers of God’s sovereignty in a world overwhelmed by crises. “The world is facing challenges that have created a sense of hopelessness among people. Human efforts across nations seem inadequate to secure peace and safety. This theme serves as a divine reminder that our well-being and security rely not on human ability but on God’s predetermination,” he said.
The crusade will serve as a spiritual platform to prepare participants for the New Year. Pastor Muoka assured that the event would equip attendees with divine empowerment to achieve their desires in 2025. “Our assurance is that God has set aside these four days to prepare His people for the year ahead, ensuring it will be well with them. God Almighty will demonstrate His power to deliver people from afflictions in ways never seen before,” he added.
The programme will bring together congregants from across the globe, including representatives from branches in Canada, China, and the Philippines.
While extending an invitation to the crusade to everyone, Muoka said: “This is an opportunity to encounter the sovereignty of God, who determines the outcomes of every situation.”
To ensure a smooth and secure experience for attendees, the church has implemented a digital security system to maintain order throughout the event.
The annual crusade continues to be a spiritual highlight for the church, drawing thousands of worshippers.
Meanwhile, the church held a two day programme from 21 to 22 December, 2024 tagged “Only God Can Do This.” During the programme Pastor Muoka, admonished Nigerians to avoid sin to enable the country attract God’s grace.
He implored Nigerians to shun bitterness, unforgiveness, malice, envy and immorality, and seek God and His righteousness, even as he prayed God to tackle Nigeria’s challenges and grant it stability in every area. He declared 2025 a year of dominion for the country.
