Nigeria was not affected by the global information technology outage which grounded airline operations and other activities in several countries.
The Nigeria Computer and Emergency Response Team, ngCERT, disclosed this in a statement through its official X account on Friday, noting that there has not been any reported outage of IT services in the country.
The update comes amid the global IT outage that grounded activities in the US, UK, India, Australia and New Zealand.
“ngCERT is aware of the global IT outage affecting various services and platforms.
“So far, we have not received any reports of impact on our cyberspace. We will issue an advisory as soon as valid information is available. Please report any noticed impacts for prompt action,” the organization stated.
