Niger State Government has promised to build an entrepreneurship Centre for Women in Tudun Wada area in Kontagora local government area of the State in order to make them self-reliant.
Mohammed Umaru Bago made the promise when he inspected the ongoing construction of the Tudun Wada level 2 Primary Healthcare Centre in Kontagora.
He explained that the entrepreneurship centre which would be by the level 2 Primary Healthcare Centre, will provide a platform for women around the area and those coming for medical attention, to be engaged in various skills.

The Governor however expressed satisfaction with the level and quality of the ongoing work in Tudun Wada.
He said, the level 2 Primary Healthcare facility, when completed, will provide effective medical services and reduce the burden on the Secondary Healthcare facility.
Governor Umaru Bago also inspected the ongoing rehabilitation work at the Kontagora Abattoir where he disclosed plans to provide solar powered cold room for meat preservation and that a tank will be created, where animal waste will be converted to produce biofuel.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, Kontagora Butchers Union, Alhaji Ahmadu Haruna, appreciated the Governor for his intervention, pointing out that butchers in Kontagora have never had it so good in the past.
