The Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) has expressed sadness over the passing of Abdulkadir Maye, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Forum, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq.
According to a statement issued by the Director-General of NGF, Lateef Shittu, the late Abdulkadir was a distinguished public servant, a man of exceptional character, and an embodiment of dedication and loyalty.
His steadfast commitment to the ideals of good governance and his immeasurable contributions to the development of Kwara State and the nation at large will not be forgotten.
The NGF Secretariat extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Abdulrazaq, the government and people of Kwara State, and the entire family of Prince Abdulkadir. We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants his soul eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and bestows strength and solace upon all those he has left behind.
