The Developing Talent and Leadership Scholarship by Newcastle University Business School is designed to support MBA candidates who demonstrate exceptional leadership potential, a customer-focused mindset, and results-oriented attitudes. This scholarship aims to foster the development of future leaders who can positively shape organizations. The award is available for candidates who have been offered a place in the Full-time MBA program at Newcastle University Business School.
Benefits
The scholarship offers up to £16,300 to be used towards tuition fees for the Full-time MBA program.
Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be assessed as international for fee purposes and domiciled in one of the eligible countries listed below.
- Hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for admission to the Full-time MBA program starting in September 2025.
- Have at least 3 years of substantive managerial experience.
- Hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honours degree (or demonstrate relevant work experience with significant career progression if the degree requirement is not met).
- Demonstrate strong leadership potential and managerial experience through application and interview.
- Perform well at the interview across all competency areas.
- Have an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0 (if English is not the applicant’s first language).

Method of Application
No separate application is required for the scholarship. All candidates who are applying for the Full-time MBA program at Newcastle University Business School will be assessed for the scholarship during the interview process. If awarded, the scholarship amount will be confirmed via email after the course offer is received.
