The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has commenced the distribution of U- lesson tablets to 17 schools in Bayelsa State.
NDDC said the distribution is proof of its commitment to the development of education and other sectors in the Niger Delta region.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, who flagged off the exercise on Monday at the DSP Alamieyeseigha Memorial Banquet Hall Yenagoa, noted that the distribution is an apt demonstration of the Commission’s determination to achieve President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
Ogbuku who was represented by the Director, of Education, Health and Social Services, Mr George Uzo Nwanne said the event underscores the unwavering commitment of the NDDC under the visionary leadership of Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to the holistic development of the Niger Delta Region.
According to him, the distribution of the learning gadgets was also a testament to the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by the President, the Chairman Senate Committee on NDDC, Senator Asuquo Ekpeyoung, and the NDDC Board.

With these U-Lesson tablets, our students will have a comfortable and dedicated space to learn, study, and grow. They will be able to engage in collaborative learning, share ideas, and build meaningful relationships with their peers.
