The Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Danladi Jatau, has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and others to support Gov Abdullahi Sule to build the people’s dream.

The Speaker made the call while reacting to the Supreme Court Judgement in Abuja on Friday.

Recall that the Supreme Court on Friday in Abuja dismissed the appeal filed by Mr David Ombugadu, the PDP governorship candidate challenging the victory of Gov. Sule of APC, for lacking in merit, NAN reports.

He described the Supreme Court judgement affirming the election of Sule as a victory for the people of Nasarawa State.

Jatau, who hailed the Apex Court, said the verdict was a clear manifestation of the people’s mandate given to Sule during the general election in the state.

He commended the governor’s legal team for doing a great job by proving their case convincingly.

”I call on all citizens of the state, irrespective of political, religious and ethnic differences, to support and join hands with the governor to deliver on his mandate,” Jatau said.

The speaker congratulated Sule, APC and the people of the state over the victory while giving assurances that the 7th state assembly under his watch would give the governor all the necessary support to succeed.

He said that the assembly would continue to make laws and pass resolutions that would benefit the people of the state and urged the residents to be law abiding and respect constituted authorities.
