The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone C, has applauded the appointment of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim as Minister of Women Affairs.
Comrade Daniel Friday Egga, Coordinator, NANS Zone C, in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a dedicated and hardworking individual with a proven track record of excellence in public service to over women affairs in the country.
Egga noted that Sulaiman Ibrahim’s experience as the Immediate Minister of Police Affairs (State) and her achievements as the Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Person (NAPTIP) would undoubtedly make a significant impact in her new role.
He added that her commitment to empowering women and promoting gender equality is evident in her previous work, saying NANS no doubt that she would continue to excel in this new position.
“As the first female Minister of Police Affairs, she has demonstrated her ability to break barriers and push boundaries. Her leadership and vision have inspired many, and we are confident that she will continue to make a positive impact in her new role.
“We congratulate Honorable Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim on her well-deserved appointment and wish her all the best in her new role.
“We are excited to see the positive changes she will bring to the Ministry of Women Affairs and the lives of Nigerian women,” NANS noted in the statement.
