The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS has felicitated the Ayodele Olawande on his promotion and appointment as the substantive minister of youth’s development.
Olawande who previously served as the Minister of State for Youth Development, appointment was announced by President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday after the Federal Executive Council meeting held at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
In a statement signed by NANS senate president, Afeez Akinteye and made available to Nigerian Tribune on thursday , NANS urged the minister to prioritize youth empowerment, ensure inclusivity, and focus on tangible development that will resonate with the dreams and aspirations of the Nigerian youth.
Adding that the minister should pathways for the youth to thrive, regardless of their background or region

“This new feat is in recognition of your outstanding performance as the Minister of State for Youth Development.
“Over the past year, you have proven beyond doubt that you are a leader with a difference, you are proactive, visionary, and deeply empathetic.
