The Nationwide Affiliation of Nigerian College students, NANS, has praised President Bola Tinubu for ordering an investigation into the alleged N585 million scandal involving the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu.
The minister has been beneath fireplace for violating Nigeria’s Monetary Rules 2009, which emphasises separating public and private cash in authorities transactions.

“It’s true that corruption is a serious problem to the nation’s improvement and financial progress. And, as an affiliation, we should commend the President for ordering an investigation into the scandal surrounding the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
“It has proven that Nigeria President will depart no stone untouched within the campaign towards corruption. The President has not left us doubtful concerning his dedication to ridding Nigeria of corruption.
“One doesn’t want a soothsayer to declare that this administration has been combating corruption and that it’ll proceed to battle corruption throughout the confines of the regulation.”
The NANS President nevertheless, urged Tinubu to make sure transparency within the investigation with a view to additional acquire Nigerians confidence.
