A delegation of the Abuja Muslim Forum led by the Ameer, Alhaji AbdulRazaq Ajani has cleared the hospital bills of nine patients in critical need at the Asokoro District Hospital in Abuja.
The group also provided funds for two pants of blood that was urgently needed by one of the female patients assisted. Saturday Sun observed that when the group approached the hospital’s compound officer for a list of patients in need; no discrimination was made to favour Muslims as most of those assisted were non-Muslims.
While distributing the financial assistances to the patients, the forum’s Ameer urged them not to be despaired by their present situation but continue to be prayerful to God. \ He said God has healed people with worse conditions in the past and prayed for their quick healing. Both female and male patients benefited from the group’s gesture, which was organized as part of the activities to mark the association’s English Tafsir for male and female members.
