Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was hosted by the governors of Benue, Kaduna, and Plateau states on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Simon was part of the silver-winning Super Eagles squad at the recently concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
The 30-year-old, born to Benue parents, was hosted by Governor Hyacinth Alia, who thanked him for projecting the image of the state in Cote d’Ivoire.
The former KAA Gent star, born and bred in Kaduna, was also received at Government House by Governor Uba Sani.
The Kaduna State governor expressed appreciation on behalf of the people of the state for his effort at empowering youth through his Simoiben Academy.
The pacy winger was also similarly received by the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, who reiterated his pride in the performance of the Super Eagles and also thanked the player for being a faithful servant to Nigeria and an adopted son of Plateau State.
Simon started his career at Golden Boot Academy in Jos.
