A now-viral video on social media has captured the moment a security guard, attempting to play the role of a valet, crashed a car into a restaurant in Lekki.
Fortunately, the incident, which caused a commotion among restaurant staff and customers, did not result in casualties.
According to a lady who appeared to be at the scene and a friend of the car owner, the security guard had offered to help re-park the vehicle as it was blocking someone.
However, while attempting to show off his valet skills, he lost control and crashed into the restaurant, bringing down part of the tall glass door and some decor.
Her comment under the post read;
“That’s my friend’s car…
And it was the security guy that crashed her car, he told her to give him the keys to repark cause she was blocking someone’s car.
Thank God no lives were lost.”
The incident has left many on the internet in shock, while some are concerned about the condition of the driver, staff, and customers.
