The Duchess of Sussex will discuss her experiences as a woman in the media on International Women’s Day at 7pm on Friday evening.
Joining an hour-long panel event entitled “Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On And Off The Screen”, the Duchess will speak at the South by Southwest (SXWS) festival in Austin, Texas.
She has previously worked as an actress and is now working in production for forthcoming streaming projects.
The Duchess is described by the festival as a “feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity, New York Times bestselling author, and co-founder of The Archewell Foundation and Archewell Productions”.
The panel includes author and journalist Katie Couric, actress Brooke Shields,and pop culture expert Nancy Wang Yuen.
