Revwit, a new AI-powered sales assistant launched in November 2024, says it is already managing over $800 million in business-to-business (B2B) deals across the continent.
The startup is the brainchild of three former operators from Interswitch, Microsoft, and the London Stock Exchange Group, who claim to be building a new kind of B2B sales software tailored for Africa’s business teams.
According to co-founders Chinedu Ossai, Damilola Aluede, and Dayo Adekanmbi, Revwit was born out of years of hands-on experience in enterprise sales globally, alongside sales advisory services to hundreds of African B2B sales teams.
According to them, Revwit is setting out to build B2B sales tools that truly work for African businesses, as most Western alternatives simply do not. Damilola Aluede, Revwit co-founder and chief revenue officer, said, “We want to give sales teams a tool that just works, so they can focus on selling, not struggling with software.”

Powered by artificial intelligence, Revwit enables African sales teams to automatically capture leads from forms, emails, and calendars, drawing from a global database of over 200 million contacts. These leads are then tracked through customisable pipelines.
The platform also allows for personalised bulk email outreach directly within the system, helping sales reps maintain context and relevance in their messaging. By combining key elements of B2B sales, lead capture, pipeline tracking, and outreach into one intuitive interface, Revwit aims to reduce the number of tools founders and sales leads need.
“We are going beyond traditional sales CRM capabilities. It is a B2B Sales assistant because it does your CRM work for you,” stated co-founder and chief executive officer, Chinedu Ossai.
The startup noted that it is fully compliant with NDPR and GDPR.
Since launching its minimum viable product in November 2024, Revwit has onboarded over 200 startups and professional service teams across Nigeria, the wider African region, the United States, and Canada, managing more than $800 million in active deals.
Napa Onwusah, CEO of Placidcode, one of the platform’s early adopters, added, “It is perfect for where we are as a company. It updates our leads automatically, which frees up our time to focus on what matters most, our customers.”
