The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, has assured Lagosians of the Command’s commitment to maintaining safety, protecting lives and property, and ensuring the free flow of traffic.
The Commissioner emphasised the importance of upholding fundamental human rights, particularly the rights to freedom of movement and dignity of human persons.

“The Command will live up to its mandate of ensuring that no person or group of persons is allowed to infringe on the fundamental human rights of others, especially the rights to freedom of movement and right to dignity of human persons.”
He affirmed the Command’s resolve to prevent any individual or group from infringing upon these rights.
CP Adegoke issued a stern warning to intending protesters, stating that the police would take decisive action against anyone found violating the rights of fellow Nigerians, in accordance with the law.
