The Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Health, Dr Adesola Adedayo, who represents Apapa Federal Constituency in Lagos State, made significant contributions to healthcare facilities in his constituency on Wednesday.
He donated medical equipment and consumables worth millions of naira to the Federal Medical Centre in Ebute Metta, which serves as a referral hospital for the residents of Ojora Badia.
Additionally, Dr. Adedayo provided medical equipment to the Ojora Olugbode Public Health Centre located in Ijora Badia.
In his efforts to improve the living conditions of the residents, Dr Adedayo also commissioned a solar-powered motorised borehole with purification equipment to supply clean drinking water to Ojora Badia.
This initiative aims to reduce the spread of cholera in the area by providing access to potable water.
During an interview with the Nigerian Tribune, Dr Adedayo pledged to further support the community by providing 700 benches for public schools in Ijora Badia and installing street lights before the end of his four-year tenure as a member of the Federal House of Representatives.
