Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has called for the recall of Hon. Ali Sani Madakin Gini from the National Assembly, citing poor representation of the people of Dala Local Government Area.
Waiya made the call during a stakeholders’ meeting of the Dala Local Government chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), expressing dissatisfaction with Hon. Madakin Gini’s performance.
“The people of Dala Local Government deserve better representation. The recall of Hon. Madakin Gini is necessary to address the needs and concerns of our constituents,” Waiya said.
The commissioner highlighted the significance of Dala Local Government in the state.
He noted that it has the highest number of commissioners in the Kano State executive council, as well as the majority leader of the Kano State House of Assembly.
Waiya praised Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso as a dedicated grassroots politician working for the development of the people.
He also called on Dala residents to unite for the progress of their local government and Kano State.
Prominent figures present at the meeting included Alhaji Lawan Husaini Dala, Chairman of Dala NNPP; Alhaji Dayyab Ahmad Maiturare, Kano State Commissioner of Environment; and Hon. Suraj Kwankwaso.
