The Jigawa State Police Command says it has arrested 26 individuals for alleged telephone snatching, theft, housebreaking, and drug abuse within the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Lawan Shiisu, stated this in an announcement on Sunday in Dutse.
He stated the arrest was sequel to a sequence of raids between December 18 and December 19 in 4 native authorities areas of the state.
The spokesman stated that operatives of the command arrested a teen over alleged telephone snatching and N10,000 theft at Babura city in Babura LGA, whereas two different suspects have been nabbed over the alleged theft of six laptop computer computer systems and a motorcycle in Hadejia.
He stated the operatives additionally arrested a suspect in Kazaure for the alleged theft of two air conditioners, including that the police arrested 22 different suspects throughout raids at felony hideouts in Kiyawa, Burnin Kudu, and Maigatari LGAs between December 17 and December 21.
