Former Big Brother Naija star, Uriel Oputa, has revealed the major hindrance to her desire to enter into a committed relationship and ultimately settle down.

Speaking in a recent interview on the ‘Spill with Phyna’ podcast, the chef and fitness enthusiast revealed that she is constantly approached by younger men because her youthful look gives them the impression that she is younger than her actual age.

On why she doesn’t want to get involved with a younger man, the 35-year-old reality TV star explained that it is because of the age difference and the fact that they will be in different stages of life.

While she desires to get married and start a family, a younger man might not be ready to settle down soon, hence has little to offer her.

Her words,

“I get approached by younger guys because people don’t believe my age. I’m in my 30s, right? But a lot of 28–29 guys approach me. And I’m like, ‘I can’t date you because I’m in a different stage in life. I’m ready to start a family. So, what can you offer me? You’re just getting into life.”
